LR800 – LR900 Low Rise Platform Lifts

The LR are low rise platform lifts suitable for travelling up to a maximum of 1 metre for entry and exit on opposite sides with a load capacity of 300kg.These machines are simple to operate with an easily accessible control panel on the platform as well as call stations at both landings.

The LR800 has been designed specifically for domestic applications and is powered by a 24V DC battery system which remains charged from a 230V single phase 13 Amp “3 pin plug socket”.

The LR900 has been designed for public applications and is powered direct from a RCD protected 230V single phase 13 Amp fused spur power supply. As standard this has a battery backup system in the event of power failure.

Its nitro carburised steel and aluminium finish lend it ideally to both internal and external applications.

The LR is a very safe and reliable platform lift, fitted with a safety sensitive access ramp which closes as soon as the lifting platform moves up from the lower landing thus preventing a possibility of rolling from the platform.

Inclusive design

The LR800 and LR900 have been specially designed to suit any environment through a selection of options:

• Selection of finishes including powder coating in a colour alternative to the standard blue
• Inclusion of glazed panelling on the sides of the platform and upper gate
• Keyed operation available to prevent unauthorised use (standard for external applications)

Regulatory Considerations

Whilst all Public Access units are manufactured and type tested as evidence of satisfying the Essential Safety Requirements of the European Machinery Regulations with the appropriate CE marking; new vertical platform lifts installed within the UK require Building Regulations approval to satisfy their national standards which makes further demands beyond the European Regulations.
