Hiro 450 Wheelchair Step Lift

The Hiro 450 is a low rise platform lift suitable for travelling up to a maximum of 1.5 metres for entry and exit on opposite sides with a load capacity of 300kg.These machines are simple to operate with a hand held controller on a flexible cable.

The Hiro 450 offers an extremely stable platform due to its unique quad-rack drive system which enables the platform to rise or lower simultaneously in each of the four corners.

The lift is powered by a 24V DC battery system which remains charged from a 230V single phase 13 Amp fused spur power supply (effectively requiring one of the “3 pin sockets” in the home to be changed).

Due to its stainless steel and aluminium finish, it is ideal for both internal and external applications. The Hiro 450 is a very safe and reliable platform lift, fitted with a contact-safe door activating the mechanically locked safety barrier and ramp as soon as the lifting platform moves up from the lower landing and aluminium shutter which conceals the aperture offering reliable protection.
