Inclined Platform Lifts
Whilst the current Building Regulations indicate that there is a need to provide access between levels in any public access environment it is not always possible to create sufficient space to accommodate a vertical solution and consequently the existing stair case may be the only potential site.
Consequently, the inclined platform lift has been developed to provide such a solution as a final resort.
The Hiro inclined platform lift range has been developed along side the chair lift range using the unique patented friction drive system to prevent the need for any oil or grease lubrication.
Both the Hiro 350 (for single straight runs) and Hiro 320 (for stair cases with either a bend, mid landing or several) can be supplied for mounting on a wall or stanchion posts fixed to the stair or wall and can be installed in either indoor or outdoor locations.
The Hiro inclined platform range is available in a range of platform sizes from the regulation size of 800mm x 1250mm down to 620mm x 800mm although particularly for the Hiro 320 it is often the site that will determine the platform size resulting in a need for dispensation against building control and regulations (which we will be happy to assist you with).

The Hiro inclined platform lift range is available is a choice of 7 standard colours to suit the application, enabling the lift to compliment its surroundings, particularly for more prestigious or listed building projects.
With the Hiro inclined platform lift range, a unique photogrammetary survey is undertaken using digital photography and specially developed markers. This not only enables a survey for a complicated stair case to be completed in a fraction of the time (compared to the traditional methods) but also enables drawings to be produced to a far greater accuracy which ultimately also reduces installation time caused by unforeseen obstacles.
